Easy to do. Very simple to follow. Has several check point to make sure all is covered.
What's great about it: easy as 1-2-3 it walks you thru and asks questions
What's not so great: none that I know
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

2912 tax filing

I have used turbo Tax for years and find it easy to follow. Very detailed. I feel very cinfident that my return kas been properly completed.
What's great about it: Very detailed. Step by step process easy to follow.
What's not so great: Some work sheet corrections were hard to understand

Can't believe I can do it myself

We are dealing with some very costly medical issues. Turbo Tax made it so easy for someone like me, who has never done this before, gather up and itemize some of these out of pocket medical costs. Thankfully we are receiving a little return this year.
What's great about it: So easy....walks you through every step
What's not so great: Can't say that I really found any

I LOVE TURBO TAX!!!! I've been doing our taxes with Turbo Tax for many years. I love the way it updates the information every year so you can get the most out of your return. This year I had a K1 form and a for 1099-MISC I really did not know what to do with them.. But, no fear, TT walked me through the entire process and calculated everything for me. TT is fantastic!!!!!
What's great about it: TT has all the explanations & forms you need for your taxes!!
What's not so great: Couple screens - no "back" button/ 1-2 - not enough explaination

I have used Turbo Tax for 6 years and every year it is not a chore to do taxes. Easy, fast and accurate...everything you want in tax software.
What's great about it: So easy to do.
What's not so great: nothing

Refund was more than expected

As usual, filing took 8 hours because of having to gather information to complete schedule C. It is great to be able to use the 2011 tax information for import to 2012.
What's great about it: Straight forward
What's not so great: Tax laws are complicatied

Have used Turbo Tax since it first came out and love it! Wouldn't do my taxes any other way. It is precise, easy to use, and there is always tech support if you need it. Turbo Tax makes filing taxes stress free!!!
What's great about it: Step by step instructions, it's a no brainer!
What's not so great: None

Like that it is easy to guide through or pick the areas that need to be reviewed.
like It's Deductible feature is very helpful to track donations.
like that information carries over from previous year.
Would like see if you could include recommendations for optimizing on returns after filing is done (eg. buy a house to utilize interest write off, invest in IRA etc.)
Would like to see if it could recommend the amount of withholdings based on the information entered for the following year - so that refund is kept to a minimum etc.
dislike that almost every time I open up the software, there are updates to be installed. And then the updates take a long time to download and install.
