I've used Turbo Tax for years ,I would not do my taxes any other way
What's great about it: Great resource,helped all the way through

I've used TurboTax before when living with my parents, so being on my own this year, decided to use it again! It was a great tool and very easy to use; I was only confused on a few sections, but otherwise got my taxes done on my own! E-filing makes it even easier as well!
What's great about it: Easy, convenient, instant knowledge of refund
What's not so great: Some explanations could be better.

This about the 12th year that I have used this product. It is as easy to use then as it is now. After going into retirement and dealing with Social Security, info was daunting to say the least. It has been as easy to do taxes as it was before retirement and with ever changing income and statements I have no problems at all with this product and its ease of use! Thank you!

Will be better after DOMA is gone!

I've found that this is the easiest way to complete our returns as long as the Feds are not recognizing our CA marriage. Still bothersome, but not too bad.
What's great about it: ability to make 'mock" 1040 to complete state return
What's not so great: need to complete the returns in a certain order if you have RDP

2012 Tax Preparation

I have used TurboTax for many years, and I am completed satisfied with its ease of use and functionality. I did check my TurboTax return with a CPA, and he could find no errors.
What's great about it: Easy to Use and
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

This is such a great product. My best experience was when I had to go to online chat to ask a question. I was transferred from a tech type guy to a tax expert, which took a long time to finally get to the right person. But when I did, he actually asked for my number and called me and answered my question!! Super super super service. I would recommend this product to anyone.
What's great about it: So easy, and straight forward. Takes something that is so unpleasant and makes it bearable.
What's not so great: Online help needs some improvement. Wait time for chat is long. But worth it.

2012 program was confusing as opposed to the last three or four years. It asked questions for which there were NO
answers and refused to proceed without the answers....soooo, I just made up something, to the best of my ability, which seemed to suffice. Example is a CSA1099R, section 2a which has always been coded "unknown" by the federal retirement operations office. Turbotax may want to review it and correct the program in the future or ad vise how to handle it.
