Very Easy

Crossover from Fed to State did not work right for deductions from income for retirement income on state return. Hope to get it straightened out shortly.

I have used this program for many years. I like the ease of use. The removal of the help is a hindrance to completing my taxes in a timely matter.
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: Sometimes hard to find required forms
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easily done

This was very easy. I have used Turbo tax for several years and it seems to get better every year. I am very satisfied.
What's great about it: Speed and ease of completing and filing returns
What's not so great: Had a problem trying to pay federal taxed owed when using a credit card.

Great Product

have been using turbo tax since 1998 never with a problem, never an issue, just really wish more information from previous years would import and carry over
What's great about it: easy and complete
What's not so great: only as good as info you put in, doesnt import enough info
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Use With Care

Help screens tend to be overly wordy without giving you all the information you need. Also, help screens sometimes use terms that may mean the same as terms used in a 1040 BUT such useage creates confusion for users who are not 1) tax law experts and 2) not familiar with the definition of either the help screen term used or the equivalent term used on the official tax form.
Word definitions are important. If TT uses a help screen word that is NOT the same as the word on the IRS form it should be explained.
What's great about it: Easy to use IF you're copying data from standard bank/brokerage forms eg. R-1099, 1099-INT, etc
What's not so great: Not so good for any non-standard income, such as inheritance $ if you are NOT a direct descendant.

Easy Does It

Each year with Tubo Tax is seems to get simpler, and I get done faster. I have complete confidence in the resulting tax forms which I send electronically. Part is my confidence improving each year, but it seems Turbo Tax has really worked to improve their language so the everyday person can understand. My anxiety is low-level now. Plus it is a real cost and time savings over paying a tax preparer to complete the forms.
What's great about it: I liked the improved method of entering charitable giving. ;Much less complicated.
What's not so great: Just a couple of issues with the terminology used.

Continues to be a great product

TurboTax has been very helpful to me over the years, and it continues to improve. It is very easy to use, and when the explanations don't answer questions, the TurboTax Community usually answered my questions within minutes.
My issues this year concerned continuing work. When working on deductions, I exited to obtain more information, and when I returned, it started me at the beginning of deductions. The worst instance occurred when I exited just prior to filing. I was only going to file the federal form, but when I returned it asked for state ID information, which took a while to get around.
I'll still use it next year because it is so easy to use.

I have been doing my taxes for over 40 years. The tax laws keep getting more complicated every year. Turbo Tax is the only way I can do them myself. Otherwise, I would have to hire a tax consultant to do them, which would mean it would cost me more money to get my taxes done.
What's great about it: Easy to go through taxes, shows last years deduction totals
