Easy tax filing

What's not so great: Slow to open software; many downloads
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo Tax is affordable and easy to use. It makes me feel smart when it comes to doing my taxes. I feel I save money by doing the taxes this way.

Program guided me thru all my incomes & deductions

TurboTax Deluxe saved me a lot of time and effort in figuring out what forms I needed to fill out, where to input my information, making sure that I have checked all the appropriate boxes and inputted all the necessary information. My biggest problem in the past was that I made math errors on my returns which TurboTax does not make.
TurboTax no longer guarantees the accuracy of the return, only that the calculations are correct. It made a mistake, for example, on the Minnesota sales tax calculation for the purchase of a motor vehicle. Also, it does not have all the state forms.
While it prints out a lot of extra paper, it never saves and prints out a summary sheet for entry of Estimated Tax that will be paid in the upcoming year. It only does it for the current tax year. The data from a summary sheet could be automatically imported to the following year's taxes.
What's great about it: 2012 TurbTax Deluxe is perfect on math..
What's not so great: Prints out too many extra forms. Makes mistakes on State Returns. Makes mistakes on State info provided on Federal Ret

As usual the programmed worked well only one problem that I needed to get outside help because even the support and community aid couldn't give me the info I needed to solve the error.
What's great about it: Follow the simple guide throught your tax paper stuff
What's not so great: The problem solving on an error did not help

easier than last year. I may not have found it yet but being able figure estimated taxes when there are income changes for the next year.
What's great about it: good questioning/lots of detail/good k-1
