Quick & Easy

Over all it was a great expeirance. Quick and easy to use with the abilitiy to check my requirements for different deductions. Way cheaper and less stressful doing it myself as opposed to going to other companies and paying through the nose again this year.
What's great about it: Very user friendly & guided me in the right direction.
What's not so great: Didn't allow me to skip to other sections when i already knew I didn't have anything in that category

Some areas were not too easy to understand for an ordinary layman, especially when errors appear upon final review of documents.

I LIKE THE SUGGESTIONS AND EXAMPLES OF DEDUCTIONS AVAILABLE. IF ERRORS OR CHANGES ARE REQUIRED, THE EDIT IS VERY EASY TO DO.
What's great about it: VERY USER FRIENDLY
What's not so great: GET SIMILIAR ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS, RATHER THAN A DIRECT ANSWER TO QUESTION ASKED

How TurboTax Helped a Lost Taxpayer

This year I had a 1098 form instead of a w-2. TurboTax was able to easily walk me through how to file the correct forms and how the information was used. It showed me exactly what information I needed and where it was found on the form and it was so easy!

2012 Taxes - AMT Buzz Kill

Using TT each year, as I do, was quite simple - this year, however, with a combined change of AMT and my situation, figuring out the background calculations was a bit difficult. It took a bit of time on the web to make sure I could validate the figure the program was plugging in. Annoying, but done now. Otherwise, I look forward to continuing the use of TT next year.
What's great about it: Easy, as in past, to complete. Efficient, etc.
What's not so great: AMT calculations

More explanations for errors or number corrections as they are asked for. More direct suggestions to correct number problems.
Extra pay for a State return, free last year???
