Helpful--way better than just paper forms

This is my second year using Turbo Tax. I am stubborn and don't like to pay someone else to prepare my returns. I always did it on paper until last year. Turbo Tax has been very hepful and I am able to do it much faster. This year, I found out that I could take a deduction for our new HVAC since it was energy efficient. We saved $300 on our taxes with that. I don't think I would have realized I qualified for that deduction without Turbo Tax. Thanks!
What's great about it: Walked me through step by step; Saved money!!
What's not so great: Hey, it's still paying taxes

I have used TurboTax for about 10 years, Each year it has gotten easier to follow and use. After working several years as a professional tax preparer for two of the largest tax firms in the country, I know that TurboTax is much easier to use and is as comprehensive as the tax firms software. I suppose you will keep improving the TurboTax software, but I am not sure how!
What's great about it: Instructions and helps written in plain, easy to understand language. Easy to follow format.
What's not so great: Having to wait for almost 30 minutes to reach a TurboTax expert to discuss my tax question

great tool for tax preparation

I have used Turbo tax for a number of years, always finding the program to be easy you use and relatively inexpensive.
What's great about it: great source for updated tax program, deductions, etc.
What's not so great: I didn't run anytime anything negative.

Easy to use

In general, Turbo Tax was easy to use. The step by step approach helped me make sure I didn't miss anything. However, it is easy to use the other feature (Do your own thing) to go back and find items. I did have an issue with the charitable contributions section where I couldn't fill in what I needed. I called your Customer support and was given a helpful answer.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax is easy to use - like the step by step approach
What's not so great: Sometimes bound by forced choices

I've used TurboTax since 1999 and had been faithful until my 2009 return. I used another brand because it was less expensive and supposedly the "best". It worked okay but wasn't anywhere close to TurboTax.
What's great about it: User friendly and so precise

Great software!

simple, easy!Q thousand times easier than doing manually. Asks questions in order of what is needed. No more going back and forth to fill ouit forms manually!!!
What's great about it: simple, easy.....don't have to be an accountant to do your taxes

Simply taxes

I've filed several years of returns on Turbo Tax software. It is my belief that each year the software is easier to use. Last year was our first as retired "boomers" and the first refund in several years.
What's great about it: Turbo tax seems easier to use each year
