Easy As Pie

Have used TurboTax for over 20 years and the process is easier every year. Love the automated download of tax information from brokers, banks etc. Really minimizes chance of data entry error
What's great about it: Makes the process as painless as possible; automatic download of information from brokers, etc.
What's not so great: Always have to manually restart after updtes

refund is always better

This is for anyone who wants to save money,program covers all the areas of deductions. Anyone can use it and know they are getting a full refund that didn't cost them much to prepare.
What's great about it: Very easy to use, step by step instructions,can be used by a pro or someone just learning.

Turbo Tax is so easy to use. If you go to an accountant for a simple return, this is probably the program they are using too. Why pay an accountant when you can do it yourself for a reasonable charge? They make filing return easy too! Thanks!!
What's great about it: The guided process makes it so easy to understand what you are doing!
What's not so great: don't like add on expenses
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

My retrun was far more complex this year than any other. The State retrun is always a nightmere. I appreciate the relative ease that TurboTax affords.
What's great about it: I recieved excellent help from second level chat (steve)
What's not so great: I would have likes it if the software had handled the issues

Excellent Software!

Used Turbotax for over 15 years and have not had any issues... the one year I used a tax preparer, he made a 10k mistake which resulted in late payments and penalties! Fantastic software with improvement year after year.
What's great about it: Easy, very intuitive
What's not so great: Absolutely NO negatives!
