Great Resource

I was on the fence this year on whether to use Turbo Tax as I had in previous years. We sold our home at a loss and I thought I needed a professional tax accountant to help us get the best return possible. TuboTax made it really easy to do that myself.
What's great about it: Easy to use, great options to automate the process or enter your information manually
What's not so great: Continual updates.

love this program ! Got me a great return this year and helps me not to forget anything plus being to see what I di last year is very helpful

I never dread doing taxes. It only ever takes me about an hour, and it only takes that long because I have to get all my papers and whatnot together. Thank god for technology, you know? Can you imagine ACTUALLY filling out the forms? Jeez. Thank you, TurboTax.
What's great about it: Easy, peasy, lemon-squeezy
Pros: I moved, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

The cost of the software is high, especially filing a state, but it was fast and easy.

Previously used pay per return as a practitioner but retired this year; so the turbo deluxe was a natural for me.

What's great about it: step by step can't miss. Importing financial data; love it! Also like the ongoing tax results
What's not so great: none

Turbo Tax 2012

Have used Turbo Tax for 3 years and will use it next time. Its very tough to keep up with all the new IRS laws and Turbo Tax does all the work for you.
What's great about it: Goes over all teh deductions, credits, and gets you the most refund you are entitled to.

This Was the easiest tax return that i have done in the pass four or five times i have used Turbo tax. Everything linked up and transfered correctly. I have used this software for at least 8 years now. I would recommend this to my friends and family.
What's great about it: This was the easiest return
