Way to Go Up

This was my first year to do our taxes and we had the first year for my daughter to attend college. Tubo tax helped to walk me through all possible deductions and credits. I watched our return go up, up, up. Thanks for creating such a great tool from home. I felt I was in control every step and didn't have to second guess if an accountant missed anything.
What's great about it: Step by step easy to answer questions.
What's not so great: Checking for errors, it took a long time to fix the problem.

I purchase turbo tax every year because I itemize my deducations. I never need to hire someone to do my taxes because turbotax walks me through every step to get the maximum returns possible. I could give my taxes to my father to do since he is an accountant, but I don't ever need to. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a helpful and efficient software to help you complete your taxes. In fact, even though I am not an account but an electrical engineer, I have friends who want me to do their taxes. After helping them out, I started recommeding turbotax and now they can do their own taxes with no issues.
What's great about it: Fast, Efficient, and very helpful.

Turbo Tax is Great

Don't like when it asks for values like tax preparation fees and then tells you don't qualify because not over the threshold. If it would tell you what the threshold is upfront, I would not have to waste my time in gathering the information. In my example, we weren't even close to the threshold.
What's great about it: Like the step by step walk through
What's not so great: Making you answer questions that you find out later you don't meet the threshold
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

I have used TurboTax for last five years and the experience has been consistent. It takes about four hours and I'm done.

I FOUND THE PROCESS OF FILING MY TAXES MUCH LESS PAINFUL USING THIS TOOL. IT WALKS YOU THROUGH ALL THE STEPS--EVEN THE MORE DIFFICULT ONES-- WITH EASE. GREAT INVESTMENT
