Taxes the easy way

My father has used TurboTax as long as I can remember, so when I started filing taxes on my own, and now with my husband, I could think of no better way to file. I love that the tax laws, which are constantly changing, are automatically updated so there is no guessing involved. The one thing you don't want to make a mistake on is taxes so I am so relieved knowing that TurboTax takes the guesswork out of filing taxes - and for such a low price!
What's great about it: Ease of Use, Maximum Returns

Smooth Sailing!

Filing taxes this year with Turbo Tax was way cheaper than paying for someone else to prepare them. Still had to gather all the info for the forms either way, so why pay someone else to plug in the numbers. I loved the reminders to update before starting and the emails letting me know what errors were present and when they had been fixed. Great product and I will use it again next year when filing for 2013. Thanks for providing such an awesome user friendly product!
What's great about it: Easy to follow along
What's not so great: Doing taxes, period.

TurboTax IS Deluxe !!!

I have been using TurboTax software for years to do my Federal and State Income Taxes. It keeps getting better and better ... easier to use. You don't have to be a CPA to do taxes with this system.
The ease of Electronic filing is terrific !!! However, I do wish electronic filing of the State Tax form was also free, as the Federal Tax form is.

What's great about it: Step by step approach is easy to follow
What's not so great: Unclear how TurboTax calculated LTC INS. partial State Tax deduction.

It's So Easy

What can I say, this program is full proof, you honestly can't make a mistake if you tried. It is simple to use.
What's great about it: I love the fact that Turbo Tax walks you thru step by step, you honestly can't make a mistake.
What's not so great: I haven't found anything that I didn't like about the program. I use it every year

Every thing seems OK. It only took two sessions to complete everything and e-file the Fed. It was easy to correct/edit my faulty entries.
What's great about it: Gave me confidence that I was submitting all of the required information.
What's not so great: Last years return was incorrect and I had mail a copy in as Turbo Tax would not accept proper name and SS##

Been using Turbo Tax for over 20 years. Software is stable, and user friendly. Always available early in the tax season for us early birds who like to file early. Add on products like Audit Protection are relevant and competitively priced. Excellent offering from the leader in the market.
What's great about it: Simple to use, straight forward interview questions.
What's not so great: Doesn't save and import institution information from prior year's 1098-T

Slick and fast

I've been using TurboTax for the past 16 years - every year its fast, accurate and hassle free. I continue to highly recommend it to any and everyone.
What's great about it: Year to year consistency
What's not so great: 1 time crashed - due to Windows8 update no being complete
Pros: I bought or sold investments
