Another tax returned

I have used Turbo Tax for over 8 years - it's faster, easier, and more complete than using an accountant. I have never been audited nor any errors via Turbo Tax been identified.
What's great about it: Easy - complete -automated
What's not so great: Brokerage interface sometimes complex with cost basis
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Missed it by just that much

Great product but wish it were easier to determine the multitude of deductions that I might have been able to take.
What's great about it: Easy to use for the majority of the process
What's not so great: Still difficult for me to maximize my deductions

Use of 1040 system

It isa good system and I saved over $500 by doing it myself. I also have to file a 1041 for my Trust and could not do it with the Deluxe version. Which version should I purchase to use TurboTax to file a 1041?
What's great about it: Easy to use.
What's not so great: I wante to find a system that I could use to file my 1041.

TurboTax each year

I have used TurboTax every year since 1991. I started because we had a rental house and need the extra help. Since, I have found no other tax program which is as easy to use and as helpful. Keep up the great work each year. P.S. I still have all of the years TuboTax programs since I started using it.
What's great about it: Simple to follow, precise, complete

Easy Peasy

My third year with TurboTax and not my last by a long shot. Assuming the IRS agrees that we did everything right -- great! I especially like the ability to automatically download the hundreds of pieces of data from my brokerage account. There is no substitute for ease of use and reliability of that function.
What's great about it: Less work, less time, less thinking!
What's not so great: Trusting a computer program in dealing with the IRS
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Easy to use

This software has got to be the easiest way to prepare your individual tax return. I will only use Turbo Tax to prepare my return.
What's great about it: I liked the entire program and have for years. I will never use any other tax preparation software.
What's not so great: None
