Love Turbo Tax

I love using Turbo Tax. Had a chance to use another tax software, which was less expensive. But, it wasn't Turbo Tax so I didn't have a second thought about not buying it.
What's great about it: easy to use, accurate, step by step process
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Worry Free Tax Prep

This is the 4th year I've used Turbo Tax. I feel very confident using it as it is thorough and walks you through each step of the way and the audit support is nice as well. I have also convinced 3 other family members to try it...they were very surprised at how easy and thorough it is! I will continue to use this product :).
What's great about it: User friendly, helpful hints, audit support
What's not so great: Nothing

Turbo Tax Since 1996

Thought my return was complete until I reviewed the printed form and found an entry duplicated. Tax information was the same, however, my dividend amount was entered twice. Had to go to forms and delete the extra. Redid the review and reprinted to PDF and rechecked. All was correct.
What's great about it: Used since 1996 and never had any issues.
What's not so great: In changes to make it easier, it makes it harder to find information.

I really appreciate the ease of use from year to year. It is especially beneficial to have a column that shows last year's numbers. If not much has changed, you can see that you're on track.
What's great about it: Automatic update from last year's details, and easy to update with new information.
What's not so great: Media coverage of issues with filing this year.

Have used for several years. Nice that there haven't been too many changes to the look, feel and usability. Always downloaded rather than on-line. This allows me to make make estimates near the end of the year or for the next year. Also, sometimes have slower internet so I believe the on-line version would be unacceptably slow.
What's great about it: Helpful explanations; Able to use Guide or DIY
What's not so great: Can be slow at times; especially over mediocre internet

This year Turbo Tx found deductions for me I'm :-)
What's great about it: It found deductions I was unaware I was able to claim.
What's not so great: nothing to complain about.

It is so easy to prepare a tax return with Turbo Tax. Just a few clicks and your as good as gold!
