TurboTax Deluxe Federal & California

I have been using TurboTax for over ten years. The main thing I like about it is ease of use - it takes only a few hours to do both my federal and California returns. It actually takes less work and time than it would if I hired someone to prepare my taxes.
My only complaint is that, when you print the returns, it doesn't seem to take two-sided printing into account. So, for example, the first page of California form 540 ends up on the back of Calfornia form 8453-L.
What's great about it: Very easy to use. Ability to import from financial institutions. Easy to account for small business revenue & expenses.
What's not so great: Should format PDFs for two-sided printing so one form doesn't print on the back of another.

I will likely use TurboTax 2013 next year, especially for sorting out tax implications of investments.
What's great about it: Easy and buys peace of mind
What's not so great: a few confusing questions, especially on the State return

Easy and Safe

Overall I love turbo tax, it was easy for me to do my business taxes. Only real problem was that i had to buy and install and uninstall two different versions of Turbo Tax to effectively do my business taxes and my own personal ones.
What's great about it: Quick, easy, intuitive
What's not so great: Not as Descriptive previous versions, Need 2 versions if you have a Multi Partnership LLC small bussiness
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Glad its done

I have used Turbo Tax for the past three years. Before then I was going to tax preparers who completely abandoned me when I was audited.
What's great about it: The step by step instructions, and ability to go back

Still the best

TurboTax remains easy to use and understand. People who use other Intuit products can have documents from them imported with a click of a button. And importing the previous year's information makes the whole process that much faster.
What's great about it: Easy to use and review
What's not so great: harder to find individual forms these days
