Something to improve tax software

It would be very helpful if you could print the supporting documents pages as you typed them. I like to keep them each year to review for the following year. You cannot print them as you work on them. You used to be able to do this years ago. It would also be helpful to put a subtitle on them as to what year they are for.
Example:
2012 Supporting details form Schedule E line A.
And a column for the date or the check number - would be super nice.

Best Version Yet!

Didn't find a private message box for TurboTax, only this Public forum, so .......
This year was Good!
Past years versions were too extensive in the number and complexity of the questions asked. I wound up skipping the questions and inputting amounts into the tax forms line by line.

This Year, not so Good.
1. On 1040 Sch A, didn't ask for better of Line 5b (Reserved) State & Local Sales Tax Deduction vs 5a State & Local Income Tax paid. (This surprised me.)
2. Also didn't ask for Safe Deposit Box on Sch A - Line 23 Other Expenses.
3. Incorrectly stated my State return was filed electronically. Only Federal filed electronically. State was printed and mailed. As such, no mailing address was shown on "Filing Instructions Form". Had to look up on State site.
Please fix above items for next year, otherwise pleased.

First time user

TaxAct user the last few years. Changed laptops and thought I would try TurboTax. TaxAct was confusing as it went from Federal to State. Turbo was seamless. PIN numbers were easily generated.
What's great about it: Downloaded W2 info from my employer
What's not so great: Didn't have my bank in your list, but that's minor.

I have used this since it was Personal Tax Edge by Parsons Technology. I have had no problems with it till this year when it gave me strange results with attempts to enter the same data in a new return. Also billed me twice for same product. Not sure about continuing to use it.
What's great about it: Has always worked well for me but this year was more confusing.
What's not so great: Gave 2 different results with 2 tries with the same data.

Good but a little expensive

pretty easy to follow, software is not easy to determine if state comes with it and if efiles are included or not on packaging in store. need to state in bold if the package contains federal and state software. and how many efiles are allowed. also need to offer 1 free state e file as an option with the software
What's great about it: Free Federal Efiles, Easy to follow questions
What's not so great: Expensive to add and efile state returns

WHEN TURBO TAX WAS FIRST CREATED ON THE COMPUTER IT WAS A LITTLE COMPLEX BUT NOW IT IS VERY FAST WITH THE HELP IT PROVIDES AND YOUR EFILING MAKES ME FEEL BETTER THAN USING THE MAIL.
What's great about it: HAVE USED TURBO TAX SINCE IT WAS FIRST CREATED SOMETIME IN THE 1980'S IN NOVATO, CA.

Overall good - some software issues need fixing

Thank you, Synthia. Without her help I would be very frustrated. She was very professional and stayed with me for about 2 to 3 hours making sure I was on the right track. She is the kind of professional we need in any business. Give this lady a raise.
