Sooo Easy

I have used TurboTax several years and it has made tax preparation so much easier for me. I love the step-by-step way to provide information. Many times it will ask for information that I never even considered. I will continue to use this for life!

What's great about it: talking with helpers on phone today was very useful
What's not so great: waited 30 min or so to speak with each helper, the last was CPA, Katy

Used Turbo Tax for 10 years

taxes for 10 years now. This year was the easiest yet
and I plan to continue to use Turbo Tax in the future

The only way to do taxes

We have used turbotax since 2008. They have got us more refund then we had anticipated every year that we have done it. Any questions we have had with regards to our tax preparation, we called and got quick response and simple answers. It is the only way to do taxes.
What's great about it: Ease of use, quick response with questions
What's not so great: Loved everything
Pros: I had a baby

I like Turbo tax very much. Been using it for 9 years.
The input of 1099R's for my wife and I was confusing.
I had to correct my input 4 times. I don't exactly know how I finally corrected it.
I can't see ever changing filing method.

How it went with Turbo Tax

I've been using Turbo Tax for several years. I've never had a problem with it. I've never had a question from the IRS. Every year the tax code gets more difficult--Turbo Tax deals with that for me. Every year my situation changes--Turbo Tax leads me through all the requisite forms. I could pay a CPA more to fill-out my forms, but why? I have to collect and affirm all my data and computations anyway, and I'd have to sit for hours straight with a CPA. With Turbo Tax, I work my way through at my pace and don't have to deal with an over-worked accountant.
What's great about it: It lead me every step of the way and guaranteed the filing.
What's not so great: It is tedious...

Almost effortless!

Biggest nuisance tha trcould be avoided is the need to re-enter Massachusetts form 1099-HC multiple times when more than one person is covered by the same copy. In general, the state dialog doesn't show the same care and explanation of detail that the Federal form enjoys. it would also be nice to have access to Federal forms and isntructions directly rather than being referred to the IRS site.
What's great about it: Excellent import of brokerage details and incorporation of previous year's info
What's not so great: Topic list not fine enough resolution to avoid clicking through many questions to get back to the desired item.
