Each year seems more difficult w/ Turbotax or I'm getting deeper into senile dementia.
What's great about it: inexpensive
What's not so great: explanations inadequate where present at all

What's great about it: Turbo tax is a very save way to go
What's not so great: My mac was not Mac x 6.8 and turbotax would not open -- had to upgrade mac before I could use

2012 DELUXE

Experienced Turbo Tax user and familiar with HELP and VIEW functions (they could be awkward for new users). I DO like simplicity of HELP. (it has been overkill in the past). Pleasant surprise how easy State of New York was this year. Unsure whether its due to TT or whether NY is just simpler this year.
Words of Wisdom to new users . . . DO explore hyperlinks "Learn More" and similar. READ screens carefully. I DO like e-file fees INcluded in initial price. I've used Turbo Tax Deluxe & Premier and "Others" in the past - both on-line and desk-top versions and feel most comfortable with Turbo Tax desk-top versions.
What's great about it: Easier to use than prior tax years

My tax situation is actually quite simple. Yet Turbotax makes
filing very painless. Almost a pleasure. I recommended it to

What's great about it: Complete and concise explanations. Transfer of prior year info.
What's not so great: Could be cheaper

Needs more direct links to source data from a computed amount.
Still fails to support more than one adjustment to a 1099-INT or a 1099-OID.
What's great about it: Professionally implemented
What's not so great: Slipped in usefulness since previous years.

Very easy and most intuitive. Some more examples would be helpful. Maybe an idea of what is ahead as I got confused once but it was very easy to go back
