Good, clear directions and explainations

I've used TurboTax for the past couple years now and it has been a smooth ride! I feel great that I can do my own taxes without the hassle and extra payment!
What's great about it: easy, quick, worth the price
What's not so great: needed more clarification on one part

Refund Time

I haven't had a problem with Turbo Tax before. However, on this one, I found that it skipped a couple of categories under the Itemized Deductions, and acted as if I had already filled out the information. I had to go back under the Edit to enter the information. Also, instructions say that we can deduct the cost of this tax software, but then it won't let me have the deduction. Last year's return allowed the cost of the tax software.
What's great about it: Quick, easy, and covers everything.
What's not so great: It skipped a couple of categories.

My first time doing my own taxes!!!

This has got to be the easiest way for any person to file a simple return. This was my first time doing my own taxes and it was so simple. I'm kicking myself for paying all that money to HNR Block over the years.
What's great about it: Everything went great and I didn't have to pay a bunch to HNR Block
What's not so great: The worst thing that happened was that I had to change the battery in my mouse.

Another Well Done Return

I have been using Turbo Tax for over 10 years. The second year I used Turbo Tax, it alerted me to an escrow deduction associated with my re-finance that none of the lenders told me about. The ability to carry income and deduction information from year to year makes tax preparation much easier. The error check feature has saved my bacon more than once. E-filing is a breeze.
The previous year comparison lets me see how we are doing and formulate appropriate plans for the next year. I loved having an electronic copy at my finger tips when I began preparing financial aid applications, etc. for our children.

The only issue I had ws the program would not restart on it's own after applying the suggested update....no big deal just annoying.

What's great about it: The new IRS e-file info retrieval for W-2 rocks...point, click & the blanks filled in for you!
