Why buy this

Probably last year I will buy this brand. Misses the mark for anything to do with college matters. Makes this section difficult to do and there is little help. Also there is no help when the program stops working. That is if you don't pay their extra fees. I think they plan it like this. Not happy with the program.
What's great about it: Its not too hard, sometimes not very expensive

Quick and easy

I like using turbo tax. I have had a very good experience with the software.
With a qualified accountant three yrs in a row there were mistakes. None at all now.

What's not so great: We need a calculator available at all times to help us with the return

TurboTax 2012 Review

The TurboTax State should include 1 free e-Filing. Difficult to do a State MD Tax Mail-In after doing a Fed E-filing., need to be able to select seperately Fed & State Return Type with Radio Buttons, then after doing Fed E-Filing, TurboTax should display the State Return Screen to do either an e-File or mail-in.

What's not so great: State e-Filing Not Free

What can I say! I completed both federal and state tax returns in less than 30 minutes. Love TURBO TAX!!!

I found Turbo Tax to be extremely helpful in filing taxes. You do NOT need to be a tax professional or even read up on the latest tax changes to be able to file your taxes correctly. One of the best softwares on the market. THANKS Turbo Tax!!!
What's great about it: Makes filing taxes much easier
What's not so great: Would close Turbo Tax when it needed to confirm if software was up to date. It should just check and then let you cont.

This is the tenth straight year of using Turbo Tax. I like the carryover of information from the past year. This product seems to be getting better (easier to use) each year
What's great about it: Very easy to use
What's not so great: Too many solicitations for additional Intuit services

Still room for improvement & siimplification

Help line not usually helpful. Sometimes on a weekend over an hour wait before any assistance is available. Then get someone who doesn't speak or understand English very well.
What's great about it: Math & tedious calcs done nearly automatically
What's not so great: Still no quick shortrdcut to standard deduction; Form 1116 too difficult to follow.
