Over all, easy to follow and get through the items. Choices were mostly clear. The help and clarifying windows were OK.
Can't think of any negatives. The print out is clear and complete. Instructions and explanations were easy to follow.

Slow to get through and will not print

It is impossible to get product support. I am an experienced IT employee who spent more then a full day trying to get the program up and running. It is full of bugs...without any support or resolution.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

2012 Turbo Tax for TomA

Obtaining up to date forms took too long and I had to call for technical support three times.
What's great about it: Very easy to follow and to perform my reviews
What's not so great: No indication if I was using the CD or my hard drive to perform Turbo Tax updates.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

This was the easiest ever to fill out.

I would like to print out particular fields on the clothing donations rather than have to search back and forth for each item. Also would be good to keep a running limit on the Clothing donations up to the $500 limit.
What's great about it: Really easy from start to finish
What's not so great: Having to go back and check if hit the $500 limit on clothing donations.

It's stupid expensive to buy xtra states and you don't get the e-file for any state. thinking of switching next year. also, the step-by-step is frustrating when u want to quickly go to a specific topic on the states; end up reanswering a bunch of the same question over and over. also, it let me mishandle taxes paid to another state. it did not stop me from entering something i should not have. the software should have figured this out.
What's not so great: expensive for states and the step-by-step was a pain
