Did not get a refund

I would like it if you used check marks all over the return no dots. check marks are easier to see. Because I am now retired I am doing more stock trading so I have ordered the next higher tax return. I hope it will make working on my return easier. I spent nine hours doing my return just now.
You ask a question below. Do you have kids. We do have a son, a daughter in law and a beautiful grand-daughter. Fortuniately they are doing well and do not live with us. I am proud of all of them. Your question should be are you supporting kids. Not do you have any.
What's great about it: Everything is in a nice order
What's not so great: in some places you mark a dot in others a check mark

It asks lots of questions. It would be nice to see where that information is being input into the all the tax forms. To know what form it is being used for.

Good but a little trouble with updates

I followed the directions when I was shown all the form updates I needed (turns out TT didn't update them when I downloaded TT). I sent the email; got the email; went back to TT--nothing different!!! FINALLY, I persisted and got a screen to REGISTER my TT. Then, the update process started. Well, all's well that ends well.
What's great about it: Prompts and help with noncash contributions

Taxes are almost fun with Turbo Tax

I have now used Turbo Tax for about 10 years. I do mine, all my children, and some grandchildren. It almost seems like I'm doing a crossword puzzle, but it's easier to do. It is such a relief to be done so quickly.
What's great about it: I LoveTurbo Tax

Well, TT 2012 is a big improvement over 2011! I didn't run into a single bug or quirk, everything went smoothly, no confusion or hair-pulling. Yee-hoo!

Easier than ever

Great program. Smoother and easier to use than previously purchased software. Love the easy importing of W2s and 1099s. Would appreciate easier method than backtracking to e file federal and then print and mail state forms. Also would like to know how many pages will print before actually starting to print and the option to pick and choose what forms will print.
What's great about it: -easy to download info like w2s, clear explanations with easy to follow questions
What's not so great: Harder to e file federal, but print state - had to go back and start file section over
