Have used Turbo Tax for several years now and will continue to use as long as I have to file taxes. Thanks for a great product for us. Keep up the great work!!
What's great about it: easy to understand and walk thru all sections!!
What's not so great: having to return to fix error and look up form to find correction answer! but not to difficult!

A few improvements. Download capability from financial institutions is great.
What's great about it: Helps understand Corp tax balance sheets, assets/iiabilities
What's not so great: takes a while to go back to the screen of your choice.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Easy as ever

This was my seventh year using TurboTax. Importing last year's return was a snap as always. It handled my job transition fine. One thing I didn't like was the insistence that I fill out an Iowa state form for a nonresident. I had to dig only slightly to find out how to delete the form.
What's great about it: Quick, hassle free guidance
What's not so great: Somehow added needless form
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

EASY TO DO

NOT SURE WHAT TO DO WITH DEPT AND ACCRUED INTEREST ON EDUCATIONAL LOANS IF NO PAYMENTS TOWARD THAT ACCOUNT. WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE 1098-T IF YOU HAVE <$2000 INCOME PER YEAR.
COULD USE SOME CLARIFICATION ON DEPENDENTS GRADUATING THAT YEAR AND TRANSITIONING TO A HIGHER LEVEL SCHOOL.
What's great about it: CHECKS FOR ERRORS
What's not so great: LITTLE CONFUSED ON EDUCATION CREDITS

Overall, I love using Turbo Tax! Have used it for years, have always gotten accurate returns with no problems.
What's great about it: Very easy to follow, very detailed and helpful. All instructions make sense.

TurboTax experience

I wanted no part of this experience. My husband talked me into it and I put it off for quite a while. I finally decided to take the plunge, but did it grudgingly. What a pleasant surprise! I did it without throwing a fit! It took me some time but I'm sure it will get easier every year. I actually loved doing it and felt more in control than when a pro does it for me. They charge an arm and a leg and you pay and hope for the best. Great experience! I will recommend to others without hesitation.
What's great about it: Step by step instruction
What's not so great: It takes a while to get questions answered by pros. They're busy.

Great Time

Turbo Taxes helped me do a fast and easy return. However they did charge me for my State Return electronic file even though I'm supposed to get it for free!
What's great about it: It was extensive and easy.

What's not so great: Took me a while to determine correct TT file from last year to transfer last years info from a CD
