I have been using Turbo Tax for 20 years. I love the ease of use and even though I am thoroughly schooled in taxes I love the detailed interview included each year.

the tool is getting harder and harder to use with time. If you go thru a section and the want to review it many of the questions are cleared and you have to re-enter the information again
I may look at other tools next year
What's great about it: It brings forward last years information
What's not so great: it is getting worse with each year

Help is poorly organized. Input screens are impossible to find, even using "HELP."
Much to complex. Required 43 steps to make one change in an input screen.
Not user friendly.

program needs work on your end

When the state withholding is less than owed to the state, I have not been able to find how to report on federal the actual amount of state taxes paid. Therefore for the past three years using your program I have been shorted on my federal refund by about $20.00 per year.
Your program is still easier than sending by mail to get the 20 bucks, but you need to fix that. Maybe there is something in the program already, but if so I can't find it.
I will most likely try another company next year first to see if their program allows for this. If so I will use them instead of you.

I find package easy to use and able to find my way around when I am researching issue. Have been using package for a umber of years and never had an issue.

What's not so great: Comunication between Fed and state has some issues. Does not recognize 1065 form on state for NJ
