I found that this year was extremely confusing. I went back over the information several different times and I still am not comfortable with the way the information was inputted.
What's great about it: I am not really sure if I liked this version

Cost To Much

Every year I get charged more and more. Not sure if I will continue with you when so many new/better companies are offering MUCH lower overall cost.
Better watch out, you could price yourself right out of business.

I have been using Turbotax since 1999 and I have benefited from having the time to go through all my taxable incomes and deductions at my own pace, assuring that I have all my necessary backup records in each years' federal tax return. I am a retired Professional Engineer and and MBA, and I like the detailed approach you bring to each years' Turbotax product. I have high confidence that if I put my tax information in correctly that the IRS will give me a greenlight each year.

Not the first year I have had this problem on state taxes. Turbo would not accept the values I entered for long term care premiums. It computed my taxes without $5,500 in deductions. After I printed my return I went into the appropriate form and manually made the entry. Reprinted return. This is a serious issue for me as it would have cost me several hundred dollars.

I had the opportunity to use Turbo Tax Support Staff this year. I found Lisa to be very helpful, courteous and pleasant to deal with.
This is the third year I have used Turbo Tax and will use it again to do our 2013 taxes.
What's great about it: instructions very easy to follow
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Very disappointed this year

I've been a customer for many years and am truly disappointed in the lack of quality of this product this year. I was never able to efile my NJ tax returns.
