Easy to Use

Overall, a great experience using Turbo Tax. Have used it for several years and it gets better each year.
What's great about it: Easy to use step by step guidance.
What's not so great: Had a hard time going back to edit a certain portion.

Turbo Tax should provide easy access to all the IRS forms when "forms" is selected, not just the forms with information on them. HR Block provides this option and it is very handy

I've been using Turbo Tax for years and each year it seems easier to use, more user friendly. In the past is seems like to had to know what you were looking for to get to all the right questions. Now, that isn't a problem. It sure beats trying to get all the IRS forms, publications etc. and working for hours to file. Thanks for making it easier.

I enjoyed my first time using turbo tax. I had some software issues with looping on the state section, but found a troubleshooting answer to my question online. I also had a slight issue filing my returns as one of our w2 forms needed a locality for box 20, but called supplier of that w2 and was told to not put it in and that fixed that problem. Overall, really liked turbo tax and will use it again next year. :)
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Need better access to a phone number

Turbo tax is the best

I have used TurboTax for years, and find it affordable and easy to use. I buy the deluxe version, file electronically, and buy the audit defense in case of future audits. I put all supporting documentation in it and save the paper copies of receipts. I highly recommend it. I used to own my own business and used the home and business version and it was great.
What's great about it: Easy to use, good guidance, transfers previous yr. taxes.
What's not so great: None

So easy it should be illegal

All screens are easy to read and understand. The options are clear and all inputs are really secure. This was actually a joy and a surprise as I was intimidated and reluctant to start. Once I got intuit(pun), it was a breeze.
What's great about it: Simple English and straight talk and not taxese.
What's not so great: Tell me if my filing is acceptable before taking fees

Totally disappointed with the state taxes

Your MN state taxes I paid for were a was of money! I might have just as well gone to the Post Office for the form and filed it out since I have to mail them in and re-verify by hand with all the issues in Minnesota.
What's great about it: Federal OK
What's not so great: State - I might just as well have gone to PO to get the forms

TURBOTAX DELUXE-FED AND STATE

THE NC STATE FORM DID NOT PROVIDE AN OPTION TO REMOVE NON TAXABLE NC RETIREMENT INCOME THAT WAS TAXED UNDER THE FEDERAL FORM.
THE STATE FORM WAS TOTALLY UNUSABLE.
What's great about it: THE FEDERAL PART WORKED WELL. NO PROBLEMS
What's not so great: NC STATE DID NOT PROVIDE ENOUGH OPTIONS
