Fast and Easy to Use

I would recommend it to anyone. It was awesome to use and easy
What's great about it: I loved that it walked me through each step
What's not so great: When I did have a question I would like to have a number to call. I would call when I could not understand instruction
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Need more instruction for IRA rollover, contributory, conversion, recharacterisation & basis for each.
K-1 Partnership Line 1, 2 & 3 need option to be on same form not three different forms.

What's great about it: Easy step program flows nicely and is easy to use and review.
What's not so great: Working with IRA section is very difficult to follow. K-I Line 1,2 & 3 need to be on same form.

Worst Turbo Tax Ever

Huge unnecessary space between each question and its answer box, making it necessary to scroll down by using the scroll bar on the right. Unresponsive to arrow keys, tab, or enter (return) key. TT was unable to calculate common expenses for renting 12% of my home for 67% of the year, which made Sch E and Sch A take hours to complete. Am greatly disappointed.

I worked with a federal tax program as a volunteer for AARP for more than 10 years. I liked the detail instructionswhen entering items such as deductions. The photo and list of experience of your staff was a nice tough, brought a smile each time I saw one.
What's great about it: I like the extra help sections, like when itemizing.
What's not so great: I would have prefered an all inclusive price when buying this item, like include one state, and auditing.

This was my first time using TurboTax, and I will definitely use it again. I had a little problem but was so pleased to see I could get live help. Rowan helped get me back on track, and I successfully e-filed!
What's great about it: Inexpensive, complete, easy
What's not so great: Needed live help; got it quickly

Excellent Customer Service

Easy to use as a first-time filer. My spouse took care of all the taxes for past 15 years, using TurboTax for the past 5 or 6 years. The program took into account my spouse's death and added the appropriate boxes for me to fill in. It was also nice to see the prior year's tax information since it also helped guide me based on what my spouse entered previously.
It took a second review for me to realize a made a mistake with my State return, but the editing was quite easily.
What's great about it: Phone support was awesome when I had trouble downloading the program. Program was easy to use.
