Pulling the sch. D gains & losses from my federal 1040 to my non-resident Mass return is not well explained and is unnecessarily complicated.

Not Quite There

Turbo Tax for 2011 was clearer. This year I had to go to the help files to understand some of the statements. When I was asked to rint and mail my donations, only the first page of my donations printed. I had to make copies from the Federal Tax forms I had printed previously. As I added my deductions, my refund did not change until the very end.
What's great about it: I was able to complete most of my takes on line.
What's not so great: 2011 was better.

Have used Turbo Tax and Quicken for many years and have never been disappointed in either product. Couple of t imes had a minor issue and when I contacted Intuit, they were extremely helpful and friendly. I plan to continue using both of these great products forever!
What's great about it: Stepped me thru everything....was simple and quick
What's not so great: No cons.....ain't that great?

Turbo Tax is Awesome!

I have been using turbo tax for at least 5 years running, and it honestly takes the pain of tax forms away, and is really easy to use, especially if your taxes are not complicated.
I love how you can enter information but then go back to sections and make changes, and the forms are all created for you. I also like being able to click on the "explain this" links that give more insight to harder to figure out deductions and issues!
