I have used Turbo Tax for the past 13 years and have found it very good. I have only had one year that there was a problem that I managed to fix myself later and refiled.
I still have issues with "more info" for the most part after reading any of them I am still in the dark as to what they are telling me.
Next year I will have new things to add to filing like retirement and social security and I am not sure I am up to the challenge. That is why I haven't pre-ordered next years Turbo Tax. I will decide closer to the day.
Overall I find it the most simple and fast way to file. I would recommend it highly.

Easy software

The software is very easy to use and walks you through everything! Just hate that I didnt realize that I was going to have to pay twice to be able to do my state filing...

Minnesota residents severly underserved due to errors with Intuit which were acknowledged late, poorly communicated
What's great about it: Easy to use if they don't screw up your state!

So quick and easy to use!

I have used TurboTax for a number of years and unlike a lot of software that seems to get more bloated and complicated over time, TurboTax seems to have gotten easier to use. It is streamlined, keeps me from making errors, and is no more complicated than clicking a few buttons. Way to go, TurboTax! You make my life easier!
What's great about it: You just gather your info, input to the program as it asks you questions, and in a snap, you are done!
What's not so great: Can't think of any!

I think there are errors in this year's program. One
occurred when transferring federal data to state form.
Another happened when trying to use a credit card
to pay the fee for e-filing my state tax return. Both problems
were resolved by lengthy on-line help from TurboTax.
The CPA I finally reached after no help from two previous
calls was most helpful.
In spite of the difficulties I experienced this year, I would
use TurboTax again. All-in-all, it is a fine program.

Easy to use, NO Excuses!!!

Anyone that can read & keep copies of their records should be able to use Turbo Tax to do their taxes. Unless you have a really complicated multi-state business, any average person should find this program a snap.
What's great about it: Easy to follow instructions, after first use , the rest are easy
What's not so great: Sometimes difficult to go directly to a topic

Need a choice

There needs to be a choice when you use Turbotax for more than one return. I file my children's returns (that are easy) and file mine last. When the window appears after doing the state taxes saying "Do you want to use your free state return now?" and I put NO, I am unable to do the first child's taxes which THEY should pay for. When you reply NO, there should be a choice that do you want to pay for the return? Clicking yes would save the free return for me

Only one issue

Only one issue - on my wife's state return it defaulted to another state for 2nd state income - Alaska - and you could not change setting. I entered $0 in the amount and the program processed the return with no errors - so i really don't know what the issue was. i attempted to remove the Alaska entry 8 or 10 times with no success.
What's great about it: import of last year's info, easy to use
