The ONLY Way To Go!

My ONLY negative is with my state taxes I had the option of donating to one or more charities. I decided to give $10 to one and then I changed my mind. I went back twice and checked "none of the above" and "unchecked" what I originally put in. However, it wouldn't remove the $10 donation. It's really no big deal, though I'm sure glad I didn't go for a much larger amount and then changed my mind about that.
I believe this is something TurboTax needs to check out. And that is truly the ONLY negative thing, everything else is all A+.
What's great about it: They walk you through every step of the way. You don't have to be a genius.
What's not so great: Couldn't take back a donation after I input it.

Not Sure I'll Be Back Next Year

It seemed to me, Turbo Tax was asking questions about entries that it should already have the answer. Or it relied on me to supply answers for items I had no knowledge of.
What's great about it: Convenient, easy to file Federal & State returns.
What's not so great: Expensive. Not as intuitive as it should be.

Sturdy, but not improved

I've used Turbo Tax for over 10 years and found it generally quite easy and clearcut. However, this year, there were several things about the new version that made it harder to use.
The biggest was that there was no option to simply print my state return to submit. I could efile my state return immediately or efile later. I could print all of the forms, but could not find an identified way to print just the parts needed to send to the state. I did a fair amount of searching for that.
What's great about it: As always, got my taxes done without me having to really learn much about the tax law
What's not so great: Harder to use than prior years

Lots of Money Coming!!!

I cannot say enough about this program. My best friend has been telling me for years to buy it and I finally listened. Now I know what she means. EASY is putting it mildly. I will be using Turbo Tax from now on.
What's great about it: Everything is a pro! It's easy fast. Forget paying big $ to a CPA and get TURBO TAX !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
