Printing Docs for State Return

The software should make it easier to print a copy of the state documents for filing. I realize TurboTax wants you to pay for electronic filing but...
Other than this flaw, I would rate TurboTax 5 stars!
What's great about it: State is Free if printed and mailed
What's not so great: The software makes it confusing unless you pay for electronic filing

Did not enter Local taxes from w2

Turbo tax for local taxes did not pick up w2 taxes paid causing a 453.00 tax bill where the taxes were already paid. I had to physically get the local forms.

HOW ABOUT ADDING FUNERAL EXPENSES TO MEDICAL CLAIMS. THEY ARE DEDUCTIBLE IN SOME STATES, AND THEY ADD UP TO A HUGH COST, ESPECIALLY IF YOU PAY ALL OF IT OUT OF POCKET, WITH NO INSURANCE TO HELP OFFSET THE COST

I use TurboTax each year because it walks you through all parts of your tax prepration. It rechecks all items to make sure you have all the deductions you are allowed, and to get the biggest refund.
It is well worth the cost and I am always confident the calculations are correct. I also like the free Federal Tax electronic filing it provides.

I love Turbo Tax! It's easy to use and It's Deductable is a wonderful tool. I haven't managed to get over the limit for deductions but it is interesting to see the value of items, not money, i donate to various charities!
This is the first year I was able to import from an investment it worked like a charm this time, previously I was unable to get it to work. I hope more of my investments manage to get this feature working!

Still needs honing for user-friendliness

I've used TT for years and still think it's the best on the market, but even the best can improve. There's a software glitch that wouldn't let me enter a gift donation, no matter what I clicked or tried to do. The amount would not have made a significant difference in my bottom line, but TT claims to get the best possible result. Didn't happen this time.
What's great about it: Accurate, thorough
