Turbo Tax, it's Quick & Easy!

I'm married, have my own business, and I have used this product for 7-8 years, and find it so easy to use each year. The taxes are calculated as you go along, so you can maximize deductions on the fly, and see what effect additional salaries have on your liability. Even this year, when I had extra salaries in other states, it came through easily and made the job so easy. It can step you through the whole process so you don't forget anything. I haven't had any problems with my returns since I started using Turbo Tax Deluxe. One caveat, though, is that it is somewhat slow in coming up, but once up and running, it runs like a gem.
What's great about it: I liked the easy data entry of personal info, salary and taxes, easy ability to step through deductions
What's not so great: Too slow in coming up in the first place, slow in stepping through.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy, thorough, fast

Took less time this year than in any previous year. More intuitive for me than Tax Cut. This was the least frustrating tax experience ever, even though my finances have gotten more complex. Just filed, so let's hope that I don't have to revise this review....

For more than 40 years I have been preparing tax returns for people that just aren't able to do it themselves. I do this free of charge and even volunteered in the IRS Vita program for 5 years. In the early years I prepared all returns by hand and that was a chore.
I am so grateful for turbo tax. I have tried other products and Turbo Tax is definately the product to use. Thanks so much.

On the Federal Carryover Worksheet the 2012 carryover appeared as 27,xxx,649 when it should have been 7,649. I caught it but you didn't. How come?
What's great about it: I was lead through the maize well

I remember the days when TurboTax was much easier to understand. Somehow, now, I don't feel sure that all has been covered no matter what checks it claims to make. Sadly, our government keeps making this whole process way too difficult.

Been using for past 10 years and never had a question or audit from IRS. Will purchase again next year.
What's great about it: Easy and accurate, layman can do. Price fair.
What's not so great: Seemed to be a bit slower this year compared to last year.
