NOT MUCH TO ADD. WENT WELL JUST LIKE OTHER YEARS. COMPLETED IN SHORT TIME WITH GOOD RESULTS AS USUAL.
What's great about it: SIMPLE, STRAIGHT FORWARD, LOGICAL
What's not so great: SOMETIMES NOT SO EASY TO RETURN TO PRIOR PAGE

Confident for my tax return with one flaw...

Tax preparation was breeze and quick. But even after I paid a lot of money for e-file, I got a mail from my state for asking a copy of the other state's tax return. That's bad because I have to receive tax return from my state to pay it to the other state. There's no meaning for paying e-file dollars to Turbo tax!
What's great about it: Easier and better than other tax software
What's not so great: I got a letter from my state for missing documentation even after e-file.

Good job Turbotax

My taxes were not complicated this year. I still elected to purchase and use Turbotax. Turbotax offers me the piece of mind that every thig gets covered and I won't forget anything. Of course, the math will be completed without error, which also is a plus. Electronic filing is a snap.
What's great about it: ease of use- consice step by step
What's not so great: None

Liked 2011 version better

I've always loved TT, but the 2012 version I found somewhat irritating. Navigating the different sections was not as easy as last year's. In trying to review specific sections and whatever info I had entered, I seemed to go in circles. I had to actually delete whatever figures I had entered so that it would take me through the section again as I could not otherwise figure out how to review it page by page. I'm no genius, but I've use TT for 10 yrs and I've never had this navigation problem before. I just wasn't as happy with the 2012 version as I have been with all previous years.
What's great about it: Always convenient to use TT and I feel fairly confident that it is thorough
What's not so great: Design of 2012 version not as user friendly

Refund Made Easy

I have been using Turbo Tax for several years. Never a problem. I gather all documents at once and line them up. Turbo just asks the questions and I fill in the blanks. Easy Peasy.
What's great about it: Easy to process, easy to answer, easy to get a refund
What's not so great: Download took a bit longer than I expected

TURBO TAX is GOOOOOD!

At W2 entry tell me retirement annuities will be handled later, not just that 1099s will be handled later.
followed my situation pretty well, but for my wifes PERS it does not ask for the 1099 with the extension the state sends you.
Makes it sound like my wifes 1099 is connected to a minimum withdrawal from an IRA which she does not have.
Be nice to see this a little clearer.

This is the 4th year I have used Turbo Tax and I do better than the tax man I used before.
What's great about it: Easy Step by Step to the finish
What's not so great: Hard to get answers to a specific entry
