Easy to Use

I have been using tax software for 20 years. I experienced a nasty install problem. I could not d/l and update the TT 2012 software.
I could have fixed the problem faster with a more complete error message, and a knowlege base of tech help.

What's great about it: Did a fast complete job of filing my taxes.
What's not so great: problem with MS installer and permission.

Quick, easy and accurate !

Sixth year in a row that Turbo Tax made filing a breeze.
It brought forward last year's claim and compared side-by-side so that nothing was missed or askew. Review before submission gives me piece of mind.

What's great about it: Iliked that it imported my file from last year and the side by side comparison with the previous year.

Very Frustrated & Disappointed This Year

We've used TurboTax for many years now, have always been happy with it, & never had a problem. This year, however, was different. The education credit section wasn't calculating correctly until just a few days ago. Also, even though we told it my husband didn't use a vehicle in his business, it kept asking for information about a vehicle. It was extremely frustrating, & took us a lot longer to get our taxes done this year than ever before, & we didn't have any new situations. I really hope you do a better job next year of making it work properly! We're extremely disappointed.
What's great about it: Much easier (usually) than trying to do it by hand
What's not so great: Education Credit section & Business Vehicle Use section

I love that I can do our taxes myself, and I feel like they bring up every possible thing that could come up. It is awesome!
What's great about it: Everything Transfers from the year before
What's not so great: Wish it was cheaper

I love Turbo Tax. So easy to use. When you are done you know that you have thought of everything and your return is accurate. Fun to see the number change as you work through the questions.
What's great about it: Detailed. Informative.
