quick refund

I spent days trying to get Turbo Tax to let me transfer last years info over to this year and it did so on the first try but then the computer quit on me and Turbo Tax would not let me do it again because it said the file from last years tax did not exist but it was on the computer. It just would not let me do it again
it was very frustrating and I had to enter all my info again
What's great about it: fast work
What's not so great: could not transfer last years info to this years

Really nothing to compares to turbo tax. It's like having an in home tax preparer come visit that you can get up and leave any time with and come back and pick up where you left off.
What's great about it: pennies more expensive than last year
What's not so great: will need to add state tax for this year
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have itemized deductions and this program walked me through the steps. Last year's information was automatically recalled to fill in the repeating information. That saved typing and potential errors.
What's great about it: Clear listing of activities and easy to make corrections
What's not so great: Didn't connect with a listed brokerage for equity activity

Hated the way Turbo Tax handled my MS return

Since I had a small capital gain on a mutual fund, turbo tax did not allow me to e-file with Mississippi, even though it had just allowed Intuit to charge my credit card to e-file the state return (during the step immediately prior to the one NOT allowing me to e-file). We'll see if the charge to my credit card for e-filing sticks.
Why wouldn't Turbo Tax ensure I CAN e-file prior to asking me for my CC info to charge me for e-filing. Not happy with the way the software handled this situation.

I have used Turbo Tax all my Adult life and the program seemds to get better year after year. It continues to exceed my expectations and helps me recieve a larger refund every year.
What's great about it: The highlight for me is the ease of use!

been using turbo tax for many years now. always accurate and pretty quick, just wish i didn't have to pay so much for the software and then have to pay to e-file the state!
What's great about it: helps in getting all the right deductions
What's not so great: have to pay to e-file state
