Overall, if this software was for a beginner tax preparer I would say it is great however; for someone with experience it could be better. In addition, please put in bold letters that you have to pay to e-file your state tax return!!!
What's great about it: fast calculations
What's not so great: had to pay for two separate state tax returns and certain calculations were missed by TurboTax

Ohio Donations needs work. Federal has magic form

One of the reasons for using TurboTax is the computation for qualified pensions. I don' t know where all the informations comes from to fill out the worksheet within publication 575. Could not find a worksheet generated by TurboTax. But a taxable rate of 0.05% seems too good to be true. Is it too good to be true? I would prefer to see a work sheet to justify such a low tax rate treatment. A worksheet similar to the one within IRS publications.
Ohio tax form contains an option to donate to four different funds with corresponding entries on the tax form. Yet at least two of the entries get transposed when copied to the tax form. A small transgression which degrades TurboTax crediability. Perhaps my expectations from TurboTax are too high.
What's great about it: I hope you understand how to apply IRS 575
What's not so great: Cannot copy donations from input to tax form properly.

Great

I have used Turbotax the last 5 years and have no issues. This year was a little more complicated, I got married, had to file jointly and figure out student loan payments for my wife etc..... This program couldnt have made it any easier, when all was said and done it took a little less than a hour and we got a great return this year. Great program for anyone.
What's great about it: Easy to use, detailed
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Simple & Elegant, easy to fill-in

I accidentally found the details lists for the deductions when I started to enter a totaled amount. The details list popped up when I entered a numeral, and after I saw that I discovered a CTRL-I function would do the same thing. A pop-up arrow would have been more obvious than entering a digit.
What's great about it: Easy fill-in format walks straight through each category.
What's not so great: A few of the detail tables in the deductions section should have had drop-down arrows to get to the pop-up screens.

They've already done all the hard stuff! All you have to do is follow their easy to understand instructions. TurboTax makes tax time much, much less painful.
What's great about it: TurboTax walks you through the entire process from start to finish. Makes it easy to understand and follow.
What's not so great: None that I can think of.
