Good program, easy to follow. Lots of good infomation and guiceance. Moves quickly, can go back to make corrections or changes. Have used Turbotax for several years.

I'm using Turbotax for as many years as I can remember (at least 10#, and was always a very satisfied customer. This year, I needed to prepare returns for myself and my 6 grown up children. I wasn't aware that there is a limitation on the number of returns #5# one can prepare and e-mail using the software I bought. It was very upsetting when I was denied an option to e-mail the 2 last Federal returns but not NY state returns. It's hard to believe that IRS #Federal but not state# would restrict a private company #TurboTax) to place a limit on how its product being used.

Turbo Tax is the easiest program I have ever used. The step by step process is so simple and easy anyone can use it.
What's great about it: step by step walk through refund, actually I liked EVERYTHING

I honestly am 100% satisfied with using TurboTax. I always thought the commercials were tacky but this year I was sick of seeing 50% of my refund taken away by tax preparers. I listened to the commercials and my family and used TurboTax. It is user friendly, comprehensive, and truly guides you thru the process. From this year forward, I will be using TurboTax and doing my taxes on my own!
What's great about it: Can't believe I every spent money on a tax preparer, TurboTax is so easy!
Pros: I moved, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

What's great about it: Very easy to work with - everything explained so a lay person can understand.

It's like having a tax firm built-in to my PC

2013 will be my sixth year using Turbo Tax. I really love the automatic import of most information from the previous tax year. Obviously, you won't be able to take advantage of that on the first use of Turbo Tax, but you'll save yourself a good bit of data entry the following year. The way Turbo Tax checks for missed entries and/or errors in entries, throughout the process and right before e-filing or printing, creates peace of mind; you KNOW your return won't attract any undue attention from an IRS desk jockey, and the audit checker shows the possibility of an audit.
The program didn't import my previous year's 1099-DIV information, but this was no real problem since that income is covered in the filing process. That's truly the only negative I can say about the product. I've been highly recommending Turbo Tax every year since I started using it and will continue to do so, and will continue using Turbo Tax for my returns.
What's great about it: Automatic import of previous year's info, error checks and re-checks.
What's not so great: Missed import of 1099-DIV (I'm OK with that, easy fix), first timers don't benefit from auto import

Got Thru It OK in Spite of Buggy Software

Thank Goodness for the override feature in forms or I would have been stuck dead in the water!!!
What happened to quality control this year???
What's great about it: Great ease of use and comprenhesive step by step interview
What's not so great: Deductions section and date fields riddled with typos and bugs this year

Great process

Great product. Lets you work through each category and see where the incomes and deductions are and why they pertain to your situation.
What's great about it: WAlked me through each area of return and suggested items I was not aware of being acceptable for my situation
What's not so great: New format from 2011 was a little difficult to get used to but worked out well once I started worked with the details.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
