Overall very pleased with the ease of doing my taxes. This was the first year Ive done them as a married filling jointly, and it was a breeze.
What's great about it: Very smooth process
What's not so great: Small little hiccup when starting State taxes

Easy Job

TurboTax online step-by-step instructions were easy to follow. I found the links to additional information for income and deduction items to be very helpful. I only had a problem with TurboTax not calculating a gain on a stock sale. I had to delete the entry and add it again for it to calculate the correct long-term gain on a stock sale. I also had to close TurboTax and restart it to get the State Return to work.
What's great about it: Easy step-by-step entry
What's not so great: Instructions for loading free State Return was not clear

Great tax tool for 7 years now!

This is the seventh year in a row I've used turbo tax and my refunds every year are higher then my co-workers. I have yet to be Audited. I've e-mailed questions a couple years for very small fee's and got good prompt responses. I have a lot of deductions because I have to buy my own tools for work. Every year I have to decide how to claim the tools and turbo tax guides me every step of the way. I have also been through 3 computers throughout the years and transfering all my data and previous years tax info is flawless. It also saves a lot of time of manually typing all data. Even after I choose the guided tour, I alway just through the entire process again manually to check for any missed deductions. I have yet to find any after the guided tour.
What's great about it: Great guides throughout, great and fast service with questions, and improves every year.
What's not so great: A little work, but well worth it

Good software except for state submission

I have used TurboTax for years. It is easy to use and walks me through the issues as I have regular full-time employment and also a second self-employed teaching position that accrues incomes & deductions. The self guiding program is explanatory and easy to use. I feel confident that my returns are accurately filed. My only complaint would be that there is an additional fee to electronically file my state return. For the price paid, I would like to see that included.
What's great about it: Accurate and easy to use
What's not so great: Charge to electronically file my Indiana state return

Forms were straight forward, easy to follow and covered all income and credits. Do not have one complaint with using this product.
