i have been using turbo tax for a number of years. i find that each year it is tweaked and becomes easier to use and really enjoy the process. my taxes each year can be complicated (i had a number of years filing two different state tax returns) but i actually find fun in preparing my taxes each year.
What's great about it: simple, easy to use
What's not so great: updates every time you open file

Rest Easy

There is always some angst, at least for me, when filing returns. Sometimes the news is almost too good to be true and I find myself going back over things a few times, worrying -did I put the right amount in, did I figure something wrong? Every year Turbo Tax seems to make it a little easier for the little guy to get back a fair return. I trust it and have for a number of years.
What's great about it: Everything is covered.
What's not so great: Some things are beyond the average filer and explainations can be daunting.

Although the TAX CODE is the culprit, I wish Intuit wouldn't oversimplify the interview questions to the point where they are more annoying than insightful.

Turbotax user for over 10 years. I never rushed to do taxes because I knew there are always updates. Never had any problems. Highly recommend Turbotax to friends.
What's great about it: Easy to use.

TurboTax was extremely helpful and made preparing my taxes much more simple. However, there was one issue with the program - my spouse is not a US citizen and does not have a SSN. The program does not include this possibility, and requires that I enter an SSN for him. Would love to see this added in future versions of the program.

Easy and Efficient

The software was easy to use from start to finish, very thorough, and fast. It transfers information and asks you questions that make the process seem effortless. I anticipated sitting through grueling forms for hours, but this was far simpler than that.
What's great about it: easy to use, quick, and thorough
Pros: I moved, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

TurboTax Don't Overtax my Brain!

When you click the Find anfter entering a verbage the system needs to be able to translate easier.
What's great about it: Routing System Great!
What's not so great: Easier "FIND" information.

College credits are amazing

I've used Turbo Tax for many years now. This year I had a new deduction: College expenses. I was stressed that I would either put the wrong information down, or miss out on a credit because this is totally new territory for me. Turbo Tax stepped me through every bit of the way. When I had additional questions, the help links led me to documents both on the turbo tax website as well as the IRS publications. I feel confident that I got the maximum credit available to me for my son's college expenses. thanks Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: step by step instruction all the way through the program.
