I love this software

I just like this software. It's eazy and conveniant. beats going to an accountant and sitting in a little partition while they grill you.
What's great about it: I can start and stop whenever I like.
What's not so great: Have not run into any yet

have used turbo tax for years, very disappointed this year bought the deluxe version and it tried to charge me again to e-file my state return...had to print and mail in order to avoid an additional charge

What's great about it: It is easy to follow and since I have been using Turbo Tax for years, it makes it even less difficult to work through

Some questions are confusing. This software makes the assumption that most users are more tax savvy. Before beginning the Turbo Tax process, the user should understand what information they should have on hand, such as applicable sales tax rates, charitable contribution addresses, etc.

Great product, need few improvements

This is my fourth year of using Turbo Tax and it has improved and became simpler over the years. Overall good product, reasonable pricing and ongoing improvements makes me purchase it every year.
FBRA Section definitely need some improvements, software goes in circle and repeat the screens even if the answers are provided. The error messages before final tax filling and what to correct could definitely improve in next version. I have to go through that part 4 times to remove $0.00 because software was recognizing it as less than one dollar instead of removing it. I am sure that some of these will fix next year.

What's great about it: Easy to use, Right amount of explanations, key word search worked great
What's not so great: FBRA Section and error messages before final tax filling will need improvements

Had 2 stocks that went to $0.00, had not sold them in 2012, was unable to determine how to account for them or take loss.
What's great about it: Easy to use.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I tried to use this product last year and did not like it. I decided to try it again because a CPA friend was using it. I was much happier this time and will probably use TurboTax next year.
What's great about it: easy to use/straight forward questions
What's not so great: returning to file did not resume where I left off

Go Turbo Tax

Tried another tax program in 2011. Will never choose to use anything but Turbo Tax for my taxes ever again.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Great guidance through out the program
What's not so great: Ask the Experts responses can be a little vague at times
