Another one done!

I always recommend TurboTax to my friends because it is easy, accurate & way cheaper than accountant or a tax service. I've been using it for years & will continue to do so.
What's great about it: Loved not having to fill in the W-2 info manually this year. Easy to understand the topics.
What's not so great: None really.

Software glitch

I've been using Turbo Tax for several years and always appreciate it's ease of use. This year was the first time I utilized the Turbo Tax Community. Thank goodness I was not the only person falling into a feedback loop. The advice given was spot on and I was able to access my state return. I will continue to use in the future.
What's great about it: As always, Turbo Tax very user friendly and easy to use
What's not so great: Software glitch made obtaining state tax return difficult

20 year plus TTAX user

I've been a big fan for a lot of years. Of course the tax system is complex to begin with and interactions between your selections can be a mystery. But usually TTAX is able to guide me to the best solutions and a maximum refund.
What's great about it: Completeness, ease of filing
What's not so great: Sometimes some mystery to what happens
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Why do I have to pay to e-file my state return? I don't get that much back, and to have to pay an additional $20 hurts.

I have been using Turbo Tax for several years. The feature I like is that it quickly transfers last years data into the new tax year forms. The prompts are easy to follow and there are cues that you can access which will explain an item for you.
What's great about it: Easy to Use

Sweet Success!

Although I do not consider math and finance to be my strong suit, this software made me feel confident that I am completing each of the fields required and that I am not missing anything. I appreciate the look back and the double check options as well as the ability to flag things to come back to as I rarely have been able to complete our family taxes all in one sitting.

Turbo Tax is awesome, but ...

As usual, you software make filing so easy. However, I did run into a bit of an issue that hung me up for awhile. I mistakenly started to fill out part of a Form 1065 and didn't realize it. When I got to the end, I kept being asked to finish filling out some missing information on that form, but kept on skipping it because I didn't want this form. I could actually delete it until I entered some bogus info it was lookin for (I think it was partnership name).
What's great about it: Easy steps
What's not so great: Had a problem with deleting a form

A Little Disappointed

I would have rated this version as quite high, but in using a Mac this year, there was an eFiling error. It took numerous attempts at closing application and restarting, before getting the application to recognize the problem. Everything was going well up until this point. The 'beginning' and the 'end' in every experience are most memorable -- hopefully Intuit will get this right next time.
What's great about it: Overall ease in completing taxes
What's not so great: Errors during eFiling
