Always easy

I always hate doing it but when its over so fast I remember why I buy this every year.
What's great about it: Making your own way through the categories and matching to your documents makes this task a breeze.
What's not so great: None that I found

Not as clear as last year's version of turbo tax. Unable to determine if I received a deduction for paid Union dues & expenses for 2nd job as Union rep/assistant bus mgr outside of pay.
What's great about it: preparing and filing online is good
What's not so great: not clear on some tax prep info

Easiest way to get taxes done

This is the most painless way to do taxes. It is a "cake walk" for the most part. Some stuff ( like going through the 1099-DVI/SV/INT) is a little confusing, but they step you through and get it done.
What's great about it: Walk through it step by step
What's not so great: some questions that I had to look up myself

Turbo tax makes it so easy to walk you through the tough sections and even if you have questions, the on-line answer questions feature really helps to nail it down. I also appreciate the carry-over feature from last years return so I don't have to retype personal info and other tax info into the form as it remembers last years data and information that may be needed this year.

New to Turbo Tax

All in all, turbo tax made what I thought would be a difficult year to do on my own pretty easy. There were a few fields since I lived in two states it could have calculated off the W2 but didn't so made that section very difficult. However the federal forms we very easy. I will use Turbo Tax again next year. Good bye TaxCut...
What's great about it: ease of use, interface, explanations
What's not so great: reuse of entered information poor
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

Over all very good.
What's great about it: improvement over previous years. Much easilier to followed.
What's not so great: Needs an index for showing items to particular page for adding forgotten items.
