It was difficult entering mileage for charity work. We drive many times a week, always different mileage. We just needed a place to enter total mileage. Had to jury rig by dividing mileage up into a random number of trips & listing same mileage for each trip in order to claim total mileage driven. That was the only problem we had with the program.

Reeling in the Rockies

I never could get past the error, "Error: Form 8824 Adj basis prop given - AMT must be entered". I'm not sure what this meant (AMT = amount?) Too cryptic to know whether to respond with an amount or percentage.
As mentioned, I didn't see where my questions were responded to. I didn't like having to log in on the internet to see answers and submit questions. In previous versions the answers were accessible on tight-side panel.
What's great about it: Like the interview style approach, ability to flag and return to a page later
What's not so great: Didn't have good experience with getting responses to my questions in the right side dialog box

Easaier than I thought

First time user. Enjoyed not paying $$$$ to an accountant.
Took a bit longer due to my inexperience with filing myself but overall was easy. Some categories need better explanations, especially in the allowed tax deductions area. Still have the nagging feeling I missed a deduction but not that far off from last year's that cost me over $250 to have prepared.

Since I almost always find it more beneficial to apply the standard deduction, it would be useful to be able to by-pass the itimization process.

Worked fine as long as I interpreted the instructions the way you intended. Seemed to give the correct answers when we interacted in the correct way.
What's great about it: Handled the filling of our taxes.
What's not so great: Had to use my engineering judgement to make it work for our case.
