While using the step by step easy review process. I found TurboTax adding my non-taxable pension to my current job's income. It took a great deal and time, reading and using the help feature to finally figure out that the only way I could adjust the amount correctly was to switch to the view forms process from the view menu. Then I had to find the form and and adjust the pension amount as non-taxable. I went back to my 2011 version and did see the adjusting screen via the step by step process. The 2012 version appears flawed. My rating of TurboTax was lowered as aq result of the time and effort I had correcting my state return.
What's great about it: Pulling data from previous year.
What's not so great: Unable to adjust states total taxable income using easy step process.

Easy Filing!

It should e called Filing Your Taxes for Idiots guide. Easy, easy, easy. Step by step instructions. If I were doing this myself I would have no idea what is deductible and what is not.
What's great about it: I liked that it walked me through everything.
What's not so great: Every nickname I tried to use was taken. THat took more time than actually filing my taxes!

I also like the keeping records of past years information that can be used for this years taxes.

What's great about it: Download from Fidelity to turbotax saves alot of time.
What's not so great: K-1 handling could be better.

Helpful and easy enough

Multi year TT user after several years doing our taxes by hand using forms from the post office. Even with several real estate transactions, multiple investment accounts and occasional self employment, I find TT easy to use. The guidance and instruction provided are all I seem to I need. I've given TT as gifts to my kids as well. Recommended.
What's great about it: Easy to use, plain English explinations
What's not so great: Paying income taxes!
