State CCA information was confusing. Turbo tax needs to re-do that portion.
What's great about it: Mostly orderly, easy to use
What's not so great: State e-file fee, State CCA Info
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Problems

I have used Turbo Tax in the past and been extremely pleased with how easy it was to understand and manuever through the forms. I do not know who developed the program this year but it was difficult to make sure you were entering the information correctly. At the end when I was preparing to e-file, it kept wanting to know my husband's employer number, etc. He is retired and it was clearly stated on the form. I finally gave up on e-filing and printed the forms for mailing. I had to save the federal and turn off my computer before I could get the state forms. I regretfully say,
"bad product this year" . Will look for another product next year.

I've used TurboTax for many years and have always found it extremely easy to use. I love how it walks you through all of the questions, so you aren't guessing about what you may have missed or how to answer a question. It really is a great product and I'm so glad it's available! I've never had any issues with it ever. Love, love!!
What's great about it: So easy to do
What's not so great: I don't know, nothing!

Great software!

I was dubious about doing my own taxes, but I've been using TurboTax for several years now and each year I like it better.
What's great about it: Talked me through it step-by-step. Especially liked the import function and then putting in the numbers.
What's not so great: Still would be nice to have a warm body telling me I'm doing it right!

This program is helpful, it gives you what you need to work with, so you are able to do what you are trying to do! This is rare anymore.
What's great about it: very user friendly, and it did not timeout on you, like other programs.
What's not so great: didnt like how it tried to add a seperate fee for the audit guard

Rocked out with my refund out!

Great product. Worked better than going to H&R or Jackson Hewlett.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Found refundable deductions that the instore CPA's didn't ask.
What's not so great: The early view of what is owed is a little scary at first until you get all your deductions in.

Turbo Tax Sucks!

Turbo tax wouldn't let me finish unless I paid a fee for the state return, and I had purchased a free state return which I choose in the begining. It also wouldn't let me e-file. This was my last year using your product!
What's not so great: Charged me for state when I purchased state

State Tax Won't Work in Deluxe

Turbo Tax has worked great for me for the last 6 years. This year it "hangs' at state taxes and won't go on. I haven't been able to fill out state forms or prepare state taxes at all. I can't get any help from Turbo Tax since it's late, but this has never happened before. Something is wrong with the program this year.
What's great about it: Federal taxes worked great
What's not so great: State tax (included in Deluxe) won't open or work. It updates and goes back to Start. I'm stuck in a loop.
