new format is terrible can not find what i am looking for cannot reach so called "professionals" either by chat, phone or asking a question on line. after using turbo tax for 10 years i will not be doing so again. will not recommend it either. sorry this is the most horrible way that i could find to do taxes when it used to be the fastest and best way even in the life changes column there is not even a box to check for my life change, i became a widow in November so where do i check?????

I've used Turbo Tax since 1988 and have never had this problem before.
I got stuck on the inability to enter a 1099 Misc for MN return. The number was correctly entered on the Federal form. I had to back out and save and print to mail it in. The problem occurred after i had paid to e-file.

there is nothing more that 1 could add then "excellent"
no worries no mail rush, in the past never experienced any "fails" due to software, tranmission of returns, etc. u guys have r tops. ty.............

Lucky Me, I did not owe

I had a hard time to get the form 982 to work on my 1040. It just said that the IRS had strick rules and you should go to an IRS Office or a Professional. The IRS Office didn't know the answer either for Turbo Tax. I worked around it and made it work by using Sale of Home.
What's great about it: The program was very easy to do
What's not so great: Although this year is the last, I could not get Form 982 to work

Great Program

Overall, great program. I have used it for years and it keeps getting better.
I suggest that you provide the same or better discounts for previous users who may want to purchase next year's program online as found on store shelves.
What's great about it: handled my taxes with no problem and quickly. Also, handled my Mother's return which has an income property
What's not so great: Having to wait on some of the tax forms delayed filing the returns

Although use of old or needing a new e-filling pin was confusing. Overall its great software.
