TurboTax Deluxe

I don't know what the problem was (and still is). My Cannon printer would just stop printing the return, part way throught the Quarterly Payment forms. I tried several times. I then tried to print out five (5) forms out, that hadn't come out before. That wouldn't work. I hadn't crossed the problem of printing Supporting Worksheets. I would like to see options added that one could "click on" to print.
The major issue was with my printer / hardware. TT could have made the situation easier to handle.
What's great about it: Easy to Use
What's not so great: Not enough options with "printing" feature
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Cumbersome at best

Last year I used HR block. It was much better and much more user friendly. Turbo tax wouldn't show last years figures so I could see differences or changes easily, and didn't handle my state subtraction for interest income on government obligations. Also, the help I wanted wasn't available unless I wanted to pay for an upgraded version. Instead I researched it on my own causing a lot more time to get this project done. Also, it waited until the very end to tell me there was an update that I had to download before I efiled, so the print I just had done was a waste. I had to do it again and do the entire section on efile over. I had used turbotax in the past and went back to it this year. I'm not going back to it again.
What's great about it: It's better than no software at all.
What's not so great: Cumbersome

I used to do my taxes by hand and it would really be confusing sometimes and Turbo Tax takes all the guess work of everything from income to deductions and then it prints all the forms you need for taxes taking the guess work out of that also, thank you Turbo Tax. I also used to have a professional do it and one year I did mine on turbo tax and had a professional do it to compare and the results were exactly the same.

Excellent source for us to file our simple taxes! This program gets better each year.
What's great about it: VERY EZ to use! We're retired and was soooo EZ!

I have used TurboTax before and I was very happy with the product. Life changes and I decided to go to tax preparer the last 3 years. This year the appointment time did not meet my schedule. So I went back to TurboTax. I entered all by information and once I was done, I compared it to the tax preparers and saw no difference. I saved a lot of $$$$ and I finally got money back!
What's great about it: Completed on my own time. No appointments.
What's not so great: Delay of forms from IRS
Pros: I had a baby

We have used TurboTax, and it's predecessor, for many, many years. I can't see why Anyone would file their taxes any other way. People who go to these "Tax Preparers" would already be done and have their refund on it's way if they just entered the information that they are taking to the preparer into TurboTax instead. No brainer!

EASY Turbo Tax

I have used Turbo Tax for years. Don't know if I'm just getting used to it, or it has actually become easier over the years.
Really like the "Audit Risk."
Would like it if the first time Turbo Tax suggested I upgrade-mine is because of rental properties-that they ask what other options I'd like to pay for. ie: State filing fee, Audit Defense . . .
Like that it automatically transfers my info from year to year.
