You make it easy

This year's product was a little more confusing to use. Had to actually call for help to navigate a couple areas. Overall very satisfied though.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I still have not printed my returns. I was able to run a print preview, but it did not let me print. Also, I had to go online to restart Turbo Tax at one point.... and had to go online to find out how to do that.
What's great about it: Thorough, exact, well-informed
What's not so great: difficult time printing

I loved the experience, I've been using Turbo for years but this year I used the "what have you left in your file" feature at the end of the Federal Return. I actually did have a form left over in my tax file and was able to identify it and go easily to that section. Sure enough, that item was taxable and although it reduced my refund,I can sleep easy knowing Turbo left no stone unturned. Its a relief!
What's great about it: I loved the walk through!

Generally, this is an excellent program to help with a wide range of tax issues. Using this simplifies completing and filing taxes. However, the ease drops off significantly in filling out the California state forms. The user must really know the differences between Federal and State tax laws to be able to complete this correctly. Occasionally, this program still enters data into areas I am not expecting. Seems to be much less this year, but it still happens (e.g., it filled out the 1040-ES forms and prep'd them for submittal - I do not remember having selected this as an option that I wanted).
What's great about it: Very easy to go through the interview section
What's not so great: Does not always communicate back the results (impacts of the entries made)

Once I got passed 5 blue screens (after doing a repair on the program), my filing went like a breeze. I have used Turbo Tax for the last six years and each time it gets easier and better

I would like to sort tables especially the table of charitable donations.
What's great about it: Straight forward, always easy to figure out
What's not so great: cannot sort tables

Great Results, Slow Software

I have been using Turbo Tax for 18 years and the software continues to improve and is written for the non-tax expert. I look forward to seeing what improvements have been made each year. This year, I was a bit disappointed in the reaction time between screen entries, but the tax outcome does not disappoint.
What's great about it: The Question format improves each year as well as the organization.
What's not so great: This year, it seemed to take longer for the screens to change after submitting data.
