you use to offer a "what if" senerio using the forecasted next years tax rates. The last 2 years you have not. I found it very useful even though everything is subject to change. I think you should provide that service as I am looking for a product that does. All other things being equal.

What's great about it: speed and accuracy, easy in and out, year to year updates
What's not so great: Almost missed my sales tax deduction, caught after first print

TurboTax - a great help - again!

Overall a very good program for making tax time relatively painless. I liked the convenience of being able to e-file all three of my filings (Federal & two States).
The program seems to be very thorough, and the ongoing helps were very nice.
What's great about it: Really like the way TurboTax guides one through all the required forms & information.
What's not so great: Couldn't change some numbers on some screens - just had to trust it was done right.

This could have been an excellent experience except that your did not put a safeguard in closing the state return which asks to save the data. As it was, I lost almost 5 hours of work because I went from Federal to State and in closing the state by exiting all data was lost that I entered that day.
What's great about it: ability to use short cut or interview
What's not so great: short of state education ded space. Lost all data closing out state.

Gets Easier every Year

I have used TurboTax for years, and this year it was a breeze. Not sure what changed, but I found it much better than in the past. You still use some terms that need a dictionary to understand (or a dictionary to understand your explanation of the terms) but overall, I think it is a better product for 2012.
I think you need to provide an area for asking questions that are relevant but need clarification. For example, if I am full time employed yet did side work and earned an income, do I have to pay additional SS, Medicare fees? It is unclear at what time an additional income becomes work, and I did not find where I could get advice.
What's great about it: Much Better Interview w/Questions
What's not so great: Need search for unanswered questions
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
