BEATS THE GREEN GUY!!

Your green competitor kept dropping my entries and when I thought I had the entries in the boxes and e filed, a blank entry was sent in. It took 10 months to retrieve my refund. I have utilized TurboTax in the past and not sure why I changed, I may have been confused on the green guy merger with the other competitor, but no product even comes close to yours. You have a customer for life!!!!!
What's great about it: Easy navigation, step by step entries.
What's not so great: Not Free, but worth the money!!

Quick & Easy

I've been using TurboTax for over 13 years now and it has never failed me. I even compared software last year by taking my taxes to a CPA and having her do them on her preferred software. I got about $200 more with TT. Guess who is using TurboTax for their clients this year...the CPA!
What's great about it: Questions are generally pretty simple and they flow smoothly.
What's not so great: If you need more detailed tax help, make sure you pay for the upgraded version.

2011 Turbo Tax was awesome for a dummy like me. However, 2012 was extremely hard to understand.

Just read the Pros and Cons.
What's great about it: Really fast when entering W-2's if they allow the import feature. Imported perfectly. Program is slick looking.
What's not so great: Hidden fees (slight so nothing too crazy)

We have used TurboTax for several years. We will never pay another tax service. TurboTax covers everything!
What's great about it: Easy to use and so detailed!
What's not so great: None
Pros: I moved, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

The previous editions would automatically backup to a burn Cd or internet site with a pdf and a Turbotax version with a copy of the program with one click. This years version requires that all of those things be done separately. This was much more work with less satisfying results.
What's great about it: Absolutely LOVE the program
What's not so great: This years system for making backup copies is vastly inferior to previous editions

Missed pre intel mac support

The program is great but the lack of Power PC support really made life difficult. Tried to use the online version, but did not see a means to import last year's tax data from my computer and was concerned about making an error with manual entry.
What's great about it: Always find Turbo tax easy to use - especially the import features
What's not so great: Does not support pre Intel Macs - almost made me switch
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
