I am a long-time user of TTax. Saves time by being able to import data from previous year's returns as well as information from banking and brokerage institutions.
Used the on-line chat for the first time. Short wait time, very helpful.
What's great about it: Quick, Easy to use
What's not so great: More difficult to get to actual forms than in past versions
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I like that this program let me know when there was a possibility of more deductions I could go for and let me know that I was not eligible for a deduction.

It was easy to use and gave detailed explanations on the credits.
Also, allowed me to go back and forth through the forms to see how everything ties together.
What's great about it: QUITE WELL ORGANIZED AND VERY EASY TO USE

Reviewing is a little quirky

Helped me avoid small errors that have cropped up in previous years. If you fill in all the blanks, and check it twice it should work fine.
What's great about it: Methodically goes through every possibility
What's not so great: hard to figure out printing sometimes; going backwards

The income section should restart automatically for the spouse as soon as the first person is done with their income. Right now we have trouble getting back to the other spouses income input.

Unable to e-file

My distribution of Retirement Plan comes from Japan and fill out Form4852 without entering Zip & Sate Code and Payer'e IDN. I can not get such information from Japan that is not follwing the US system on such information.
To e-file those data field must be entered. Without them, the program never allow me to e-file. Finally I have to change my filing method to mailing-out, even I paid filing fee. The program should allow skip such error check.
