We used Turbo Tax on March 6, 2012, but the last page stated the Federal Forms were filed electronically on March 5,2012.
Also, at times when we hit "Continue" the program skipped a page or gave us problems.
Lastly, we were never prompted to "Save" sections as we went along, and at first, we hit "Back" once too often to check an entry, and deleted over 2 hours of work.

Over all the system works great. Easy to use
What's great about it: step by step process
What's not so great: ran into a snag at end wanted to question forms 1099r box 12. there is a glich in the system. I fixed it myself.

I like the assistance the program offers. I like the way it asks questions and verifies answers as well as referring to last years return.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Keeping it Simple

I've used Turbo Tax to prepare my returns for the last 10 years and it is the quickest, easiest and most efficient way to prepare and file my taxes. I appreciate the guidance along the way and ease with which I can get help if I need it. Great product and I have recommended to family and friends over the years. Life's too short to spend one extra minute on tax prep.
What's great about it: Guidance, ease of use, security and automated data fill from prior returns
